Among other things, we will forage for medicinal plants and learn how to make our own smudgesticks to cleanse our space.

About the accommodations:

We highlight the experience of being close to nature in all its beautiful, yet raw, splendor. While you’re suspending the comforts of city luxuries, you’ll be welcomed with stunning views and full access to the ocean.

You will be staying in a beachfront lodge and cabins in Nacpan Beach. The lodge with sea view balcony, mini garden, and indoor toilet can host up to 4 pax, Php29,950 per person package. The lodge will use two queen beds, shared and is perfect for friends coming together. The cabins have indoor toilet and can host up to 2 pax each, with one queen bed each person. The cabin package costs Php26,950

The venue is an eco-friendly resort which is solar-powered. There is no airconditioning however, there are fans and the lodge and cabins were designed to be cool even during the day and at night, given its location, gets the gentle breeze from the ocean. Signing up for this retreat means you are signing up to stay in a natural environment and not a luxury resort.

Given that we are in a more raw, natural environment, if you are prone to niknik bites (sandflies), it is best to be prepared with insect repellents but we will also have in case you need. As we are surrounded by nature, one must accept that we are subject to nature’s elements.

Given this venue is in a more remote location in Nacpan Beach, but also easily accessible due to its beachfront location, expect a detox retreat as there is no signal in the venue. However, there is satellite wifi for guest’s convenience.

Given the setup of shared rooms, males may book in the nearby Nacpan Glamping, Angkla, or Seaside Hue Resort, all a few minutes away by walk on the beach. We will be discounting Php8,000 off the package for those who will be booking elsewhere but joining us for the retreat. The same applies to El Nido residents who want to join. In the event that a cabin frees up for one male, he must pay the full rate of Php29,950.

Getting to El Nido:

OPTION 1: DIRECT FLIGHT TO EL NIDO
You may either choose to fly directly to El Nido via AirSwift airlines. You will land in Lio airport, and from there, Nacpan beach is accessible in 30-40 minutes by land travel. We can arrange a van or a 4×4 ride to bring you to the venue should you wish, or you may also take a trike.

OPTION 2: FLIGHT TO PUERTO PRINCESA AND LAND TRAVEL TO EL NIDO
For cheaper flight options via AirAsia, Cebu Pacific, or Philippine Airlines. If coming from Puerto Princesa Airport, there are several common private vans that go to El Nido daily, or you can also charter your own van if coming with a companion/s.*Depending on travel regulations, as of now, participants need to apply for an S-Pass permit. This can easily be obtained through the website and uploading needed documents such as ID, proof of stay, and vaccination card.

Other FAQ:

– We have common pick-up times for 4×4 truck from Kalye Artisano, a 5 minute trike from El Nido airport, starting at 11:00AM to go directly to our venue. You may time your flights to ensure arrival at least 1 hour before the first pickup, until the last pick-up time on Day 1 at 2:00PM. There is a 30-40 minute travel time from Lio Estate to Nacpan Beach.

– Roundtrip cost per person for 4×4 pickup from Kalye Artisano, Lio Estate will depend on the number of participants joining the retreat to cover the costs. The pick-up truck goes directly to the resort.

– There are no ATMs nearby the venue, the nearest is in Lio airport. Bring emergency cash and for other extra add-ons such as one-on-one services, massages, snacks, etc.

– First come, first serve. Limited to 10 slots only. Deadline to register is on September 30, 2022.

TERMS:
– Non-refundable once deposit is made. 50% to confirm slot or full payment may be made. Once deposit is made, the rest of the pending payment must be completed at least two weeks before the retreat. While slots are non-refundable, it may be transferred to another person if needed.
– May not be rescheduled given the limited slots available per retreat. Only valid for reschedule due to natural calamities or medical emergencies.
– There is a minimum number of participants to push through with the retreat. We will inform two weeks before should there be a need to postpone and reschedule the retreat if the minimum is not met.
